Sadly, the glorious Summer of 2010 has come to a close.  We were happy to have played a kick-ass show at Rockwood Music Hall last Fri to bid our favorite season adieu.  Here are some pics taken by our friend Chris Scallicci:

Hi Friends.

THE COLOR BARS are playing tonight at Rockwood Music Hall at midnight.  It’s the last show of the summer, and we’ll be debuting some new material off the new album, so we really hope to see you there!

Rockwood Music Hall in the great city of Newer York is officially our new favorite place to play. Great sound, stand-up lads and lasses and plenty of good beer. Also every show at Rockwood is free!

We're delighted to be playing there several more times this summer, so please keep checking this here site for more show times!
 
 
The band and friends just got back from a little jaunt to the city of Wutherly Wuv where they rocked the Khyber club with local acts Silver Sea, The City, and Flamigo.Thanks to Julia and Will from Flamingo for helping us out there. Pete's Candy Store in Williamsburg on Lorimer last Saturday May 15 was also a treat because we played with Chris McKenna, the newest addition to the group, and BOY are we happy to have him on board.
 
 
Here's a really cool animated video our friend Seth Welton over at Eatcakedrinkblood put together with Gerald a little while back. It was originally posted to Youtube where it received over 10,00 hits but strangley never made it to this here website until just now. There were no octoganal aliens harmed during the production of the film, but a member of the film crew did recieve a horrendous paper-cut and is suing for samwiches.
